Blake Shelton’s brand new single, “Came Here To Forget” is probably one of the most emotional, personal songs he has put out!

“You’re gettin’ over him, and I’m gettin’ over her…Keep saltin’ the rim, gettin’ even with her and with him.” Written by Craig Wiseman and our very own Canadian, Deric Ruttan seems to fit perfect with Blake’s personal life with divorcing Miranda and his new relationship with Gwen Stefani.

“[The song is] an intimate snapshot of a couple’s encounter at a bar,” he says. “I’ve had a lot of music over the years but I don’t think I’ve ever had a song that’s such a direct look into my life. That’s why I’m so excited about this particular song.”
