Jake Owen was in the emergency room yesterday after a bad bike accident. He got stitches for a 6-inch long gash on the bottom of his left arm and tweeted, “sometimes in life, you fall. That’s when you get back up again and walk it off.” In 2012 Jake broke his collarbone snowboarding and in 2013 he broke his right ring finger go-carting and had to have part of it amputated.

Dierks Bentley’s ‘Black,’ is in stores today. He says it’s an album about the peaks and valleys of a young relationship and he has several guests on it like Maren Morris and New Orleans musician Trombone Shorty.

‘Blake Shelton: Based on a True Story’ opens today at The Country Music Hall of Fame. The exhibit includes the red chair he sits in on The Voice, his first royalty check of $2.73 and more. Tomorrow Blake and Chris Janson open the Indy 500 with a show the day before the big race.

Finally – Saturday night, Instant Jam: Dierks Bentley’s on CMT. In 15 years of performing, he says it’s maybe his favorite show he’s ever done.
