Another small town Sunday

Campbell and Farwell Confessional? I actually made this trip on a Saturday. But the idea is the same. It’s all about getting out to the small towns and the places within them that you’ve recommended. So on a trip to Sauble Beach this weekend, I stopped in Harriston.I usually only stop at the Cedar Rail in Harriston but Emily Beard recommended the South Street Cafe. I’m glad she did! I stopped in for breakfast on my way to the beach and it was amazing! As I was eating, I was thinking about writing this blog and I wanted to describe all the food. Then I remembered I’m not a restaurant critic, I’m a radio announcer! Suffice to say, it was terrific and definitely worth the stop.

As for Harriston, it has a lot in common with Waterloo Region. Construction! I’m sure it will be great when the main intersection on Elora Road opens again, though. 😉

Keep those recommendations coming! I’ll see you on the road some Sunday this summer. Or, Saturday. Guess it depends what kind of mood I’m in. 🙂
