Rising country band Old Dominion recently released their second studio album called Happy Endings, which features their hit single ‘No Such Thing As A Broken Heart‘

On the same album, my favourite song ‘Shoe Shopping‘ brings me so much joy!


BUT there is one song that Old Dominion has on their new record that is called ‘Be With Me‘. Lead singer Matthew Ramsey talks about the song “Girl power: It’s not something you would expect a band of five dudes to write a song or make a video about, especially a band like mine, whose first hit single opened up with the line ‘Hey girl. Wassup?’ To be quite honest, it wasn’t something we expected either,”

The band agrees “Underneath the candy-coated melody and popping production of the demo was a surprising message of female empowerment.”

The video fits the tune showcasing all types of strong women! They told stories, laughed, cried (so did I), and danced!


Between all the guys in the band there are 11 daughters!Imagine the same guy that sang “Hey girl, wassup” is now singing “Hey girl, it’s your world”
