HK: Teen Gets Homecoming Dresses!

Because of the kindness and love of some strangers, some Texas teenagers are going to have dresses for their high school Homecoming events! Hurricane Harvey took everything from these teens and their families, and a clothing drive was organized by a classmate! 15 year old Ashley Reel from Spring, Texas, near Houston, started a social media campaign that ended up with 3,000 beautiful dresses to give her classmates!

The dresses have been donated from people across the U.S. who wanted to make sure these students didn’t miss out on their Homecoming events. Volunteers helped teen girls find homecoming gowns from the thousands of choices!

One of the happy Students said: “I am very happy to get this dress. It was like a dream come true.”
