Shania Twain will be the subject of a new musical. The project will feature the 59-year-old star’s biggest songs, including “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” with hopes of a production taking the stage in late 2025.

According to reports, the musical shares a tone with ABBA’s Mamma Mia!, suggesting that Shania’s songs will likely tell a story.

A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “It’s been a long time coming, but the Shania musical is finally happening. Shania is thrilled it’s been given the green light.”

The insider continued: “Eliza Lumley Productions are producing it. Eliza was in the original Mamma Mia cast and worked at Shania’s label Universal for almost a decade.”  The script has been completed and it’s now moved into the developmental stage, with discussions about staging and costumes.
