HK: The Buddy Bench!

Peyton Jones of New Washington, Indiana doesn’t want anyone to feel left out. So when she heard about Buddy Benches, she made it her mission to bring them to her school.

Peyton says “When you don’t have anybody to sit with on the playground, you sit on the Buddy Bench and other kids come over and ask if you want to play with them.”

To raise the $500 she needed for the Buddy Bench, the 8 year old made and sold sugar scrubs. When she had enough, her principal matched all her funds, so she could get 2 Buddy Benches to spread even more kindness.
