Tonight in New York City Thomas Rhett & Brett Eldredge kick off their Boots & Suits tour with opener Danielle Bradbery. Thomas came up with the tour name because he and his band where suits every Saturday and since he and Brett like to dress up anyway it seemed fitting for the tour. Thomas says, “Brett’s the goofiest dude I’ve ever met and his energy level’s nonstop from 6 AM til he goes to bed.” As for who goes on first each night, the guys will flip a coin.

Carrie Underwood will headline Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on December 31. Carrie  also told Us Weekly a few little known things about her like she loves the smell of skunks, she drives like a grandma, she’s an amazing whistler and she’s also a doomsday preparer.

The only advice Chris Young ever gives people that want to get into the music biz is learn to write songs then write as many as you can.

Finally – Keith Urban will have an exhibit in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum starting Nov. 20 and ending in May. It’ll span his career and include childhood memorabilia, handwritten song lyrics and his beloved 1989 Fender Telecaster he calls ‘Clarence.’
