This weekend Dierks Bentley’s beloved dog and video co-star Jake died at 15. He was having chemo for cancer and was totally deaf and also had trouble using his legs. In the last years of his life, Dierks said he’d only eat people food. Lyrics from ‘Can’t Be Replaced’ on his album ‘Black’ read, “for 15 years, right by my side. From a single man to three kids and a wife. Friends come and go, but when it comes to Jake. There’s just some things that can’t be replaced.”
