Kenny Chesney’s dad Dave has been arrested for allegedly assaulting another man with a golf club. He was charged with aggravated assault and vandalism and taken to the Claiborne County Jail an hour outside Knoxville, TN where Kenny’s family lives.

 

Eric Church, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard & more are among the artists sharing thoughts on their friend in a new documentary, Johnny Cash: American Rebel airing in CMT September 12.

 

I talked to Dustin Lynch recently and he has a somewhat odd pre-show routine. It includes a long session of brushing his teeth cause Dustin says it’s calming for him. He also says ironing clothes before a show calms him too.

 

Reba will be the voice of Etta, in the upcoming animated movie, ‘The Land Before Time, Journey of the Brave. It’ll be out in early 2016 and Kiefer Sutherland is also in the film.

 

Finally – on Maddie & Tae’s first radio tour, as their bus went under a bridge, it was too tall so the top peeled off like a sardine can. Then the AC unit almost hit Tae in the head. The driver knew it happened but he kept going for several miles so they wouldn’t be late for their show.
